The publishing activity of Public Institution MESS can be said to exist as much as the festival itself, and has especially important role in affirming domestic drama authors. By publishing Tariq Ali’s drama “New Adventures of Don Quijote”, translated by Senada Kreso, in 2014, MESS Festival has launched a new project dedicated to publishing activities under the name MESS Library.
MESS Library is conceived as an edition that will deal with the translation of contemporary dramaturgy in order to introduce the broader reading public with relevant drama production. The idea of the project is to launch the possibility of scenic transposition of contemporary literature in BH stage, since there is a notable absence of contemporary drama on repertoires, in student programs and educational processes.
