Celebrating Susan Sontag’s jubilee, MESS Festival and Maladype Theatre present “Alice in Bed” at SARTR Sarajevo. The drama, which Sontag said reflects “grief, anger, and imagination,” merges Alice James with Carroll’s Alice. Directed by Zoltán Balázs, it’s a dynamic tribute to Sontag’s humanitarian efforts in Bosnia-Hercegovina and her unwavering belief in equality. The production will also feature in Budapest Spring Festival 2024.
