The oldest festival in Southeast Europe. Established upon the initiative of Jurislav Korenić in 1960. Today, MESS operates in its expanded form and consists of four programming units: MESS Festival, MESS Scene, Memory Module and MESS Libr

MESS Festival is traditionally held in autumn and presents over 20 productions from around the world each year. The festival is of a competitive character and this year celebrates its 59th edition.

Memory Module is a multimedia program that dates back to 1996. The main goal of this cultural project is to preserve the memory of the tragic past of B&H;, with a special focus on art as a blend of aesthetic and ethical.
